“I’m 50+ years old and taking up K-pop dance has been quite an adventure—but thanks to Wei Yuan, it’s been an incredibly rewarding journey. She makes every class fun yet challenging, striking the perfect balance between enjoyment and real progress.
Her teaching is excellent: she breaks down each step clearly, makes difficult sequences feel achievable, and brings so much musicality into her classes. Her choice of music is always inspiring—you can’t help but move with the beat—and her choreography is crafted carefully to match the accents, rhythm, and energy of each track. It really shows that she comes from a background in musical theatre, acting and singing; she teaches not just the steps, but the performance and feeling behind them.
Of course, she’s a brilliant dancer, but what I appreciate most is how she makes it possible for us to dance, whatever age or starting point we come from.
Since joining her classes, I’ve even noticed my body loosening up in ways I didn’t expect. My neck and back feel almost like I’ve just come out of a hot yoga session—in the best possible way.
